A new way of discovering the loft glitch has been found and i made a video to show you how it s done.

Usually you get major collision issues placing objects near the stairwell but from inside it s basically a non issue.
The only difference is you have to jump only and not move foward.
I do think it s a glitch though.

I just started playing ffxiv about two months ago and i love the housing side of things.
I ve tried using the wood stump to glitch me on the roof but nothing happens when i place it under me while on a ledge.
Personnaly we put our glitch behind the house where we used to do the glitch before and it works.
Then you end in the middle of the building and jump again to unlock yourself.
But i seem to skip to the edge of the roof rather than falling below.

There s a large house in lavender beds that i can get onto by running up the path behind the house then jump over a railing onto the roof.
Unfortunately this new method is trickier and finickier but better than nothing.
There is a stepladder next to the hot springs that you can climb to jump onto the roof.
I can do wall glitches and float tabletop items but i ve been through every glitch guide and still can t get beds tables chairs etc to float.
The jump is quite far and it always looks like i m not gonna make it.
The problem is i can t get any furniture items to float.
